I'd make sure you've got the connections to the EDC in the correct places.

Checked the numbers three times over - definitely in the right place. I'm not sure what to do.

There does seem to be a small leak under the engine bay and i'm thinking this could be a leak in the high pressure fuel pump but the error codes are saying the sensor is malfunctioning P0193

Didn't have the tools to fit the new fuel sensor so I took it to my local garage. They fitted it and it fixed the problem...for 30 miles. Then it started ****ing out diesel, filling the car with white fumes. Lost 1/4 of a tank in 6 miles but made it home and I live to see another day. Starting to think the hippo is trying to kill me.

I bought the correct fuel sensor with the attenuator and washer on, so I'm not sure why it's ****ing everywhere. I've spent this evening washing the diesel spill off the road outside my house.

@Nodge68 what would you suggest I do?

Find out what is leaking would be a good start.
If it's anything to do with the rail sensor, then the garage that did the work will need to rectify the problem. I've seen the seal get split by over tightening the rail sensor.

rail sensor has a small metal gromit that needs refitting, if garage has lost that or not fited it first before senor it will leak from round sensor

Dont ask me how I kow that :rolleyes:

Predictably, the garage lost the new mushroom which is longer in length and has the ability to crush the washer and seal the sensor in contrast with the older one which is shorted and left a gap hence the leak. I found the new one in the engine bay, managed to fit it and so far so good. After 20 mins of arguing and denying responsibility, I walked out of the garage and told them to stuff it.

Fingers crossed it won't leak with more mileage. Thanks for your contributions.
