My freelander is pulling to the left whilst driving.
Its fine when braking.

Just passed mot so it cant be nothing to serious, so thought it must be the tracking NO still the same problem, thought it was the rotation on the tyres and still NO its the same, tyre pressure is fine.

Can anyone please help me in solving this annoying problem.

Peter.

hi try the anti role bar on oppesite side should be no more then a 10 mm gap that often causes this prob

Have you got different makes of tyre on each wheel, my 1998 Freelander was all over the road until I fitted same make tyres, now its fine.

Have you had any work done recently on the front suspension?
New struts? New springs?
Is the self-centring effect equal on exiting both left and right hand corners?
There is a procedure that must be followed to ensure that the car drives straight - involves torquing the top strut nut after rolling the car backwards and forwards half a dozen times on a perfectly flat surface with the nuts loosened but not removed of course.
This used to be a common problem on Ford Cortina and Escort rally cars - been off-roading lately?
