hi i own a facelift 04 freelander the one with the dog engine yea 1.8kseries, has anyone ever fitted a turbo unit of a rover 220 coupe to it it and if so so what difference did it make, cheers

FFS it overheats and blows more Head gaskets than a crack addict blows cocks. And you wanna fit a turbo to it!!! Are you insane or just got too much money to spend..

yu go ahead. Just dont come back crying. Course yu could do the job proper and fit the complete T series lump including turbo - thats the real way to do it.:love:

Well I take it that's a no then. And for the head gasket its been modified with a remote thermostat to stop overheating and the head gasket problem for good.

it helps but doesn't cure it. there a few other jobs to do like changing head dowels and fitting a compound head gasket.

Well sod. The kseries engine off what can you fit in the engine bay to gain 250bhp or more!
