Looks very well :)

Maybe use a some kind of rubber finisher for bumper edges? Like mine for roll cage :

The finished article, a few pics with the grill installed, it can be easilly removed to get at the clutch lever, also gives access to the allen screw that holds the end of the rope so it can be installed & spooled without taking front bumper off. Isolation switch can be seen to the right of the bonnet pod.

Amazing how much more purposeful the car looks like that!

Off topic, are they BFG AT's or Insa's you run? How'd you find them on the freelander?

John, I think B&Q sell the rubber edging.....it's normally with the chequer plate sheets. :)

BFGs mate, they are great on the Freelander, just a little bit more road noise than the Cooper ATRs I had on before, the coopers had slightly better grip but very weak sidewalls & didn't last anywhere near as long,

I'm looking at the BFG's or a set of Cooper AT3's, the AT3's are way cheaper, so tempted by them, apparently they're a lot stronger and more on a par with the BFG's. 50 quid difference per tyre inc fitting though!

I did the drawing & made a cardboard mockup, took that to a local fab shop who cut, bent & welded the pieces , had it powder coated locally.
To my knowledge no one is producing winch bumpers for the Freelander 1.
If I could get enough interest I would have a small batch of 6 - 10 made.

Hello Matacaibo, You surely have another person interested!
Please tell me how to proceed.

Regards, Jaap (Holland)

Hello John,

Did you get sufficient interest to have a small badge made?
