sticking point is oil filter housing, guy on ebay yet to get back to me and can/t find anything locally, engine mounts I'm going to make fit until I find some more suitable
 
If the guy will wire loom to include engine,cruise and auto box- rather than just 5 wires, then let him do it for that price

Don't think you'll be able to and £95 was for the engine loom only.:(

But the engines will run fine without a cat and I think you're legal at mot time as long as the vehicle is pre 2001:banana:and passes emissions of course...
 
Okay I have engine mounts welded in,going to grind studs off rover ones and m12 10.9 or stronger bolt through It with metal lock nut till I find an alternative.
Oil filter relocation kit on way and 400hp rated fuel pump

Oh and abandoned surf conversion on eBay £1200 or so when browsing

if it's anything like most toyotas they run fine if not better de-cated, you just have to re-set ecu into learn mode for first 20 or so miles.
 
Okay fuel pump turned up this afternoon, turns out you can only order with 12 or 15mm outlet yet it has an odd metric fine type thread and they won't supplying unions as extra - ****ed me of a little as pipe and hose place had nothing to fit. Have a gates reducer and my mate has found a place to fit pump and bmw m3 fuel filter.

Exhaust looks like a joy and my mate has had a go while I made front brake pipes

use mocal for all oil bits..ie relocating filter.extra oil cooler..etc..

alt goes where air con was..need to move powersteering unless you have engine in the sky..

dont need rear lamdas,though willl throw fault codes..standard rover fuel pump is fine..

need proper rad..rover v8 no good..

re sump..make your own..easy..

re auto..you know you can get in and "manually" switch the gearing..ie change when you want..semi manual styly.

make your own headers.. dont use lexus ****ttteeee ones..get extra 20hp by dumping them.

when supercharging use m112 or bigger..dont bother with m90.intercooling not required unless 1bar or more wanted..

got wiring sorted yet???lpg???

what you doing about brakes???

remember 110 calipers are 25%bigger than 90 and rrc..get vented discs to fit and use 110 vented calipers..drilled grooved..

then....to be able to lift rear wheels off tar mac..(not kidding) junk the vac servo..fit yanky hydroboost setup running off powersteering pump...the difference is unreall!!no spongy peedle..rock solid..most like race car peedle i have felt..takes getting used too..

then......you will find you will be needing front and rear lsd's..a must once supercharged..otherwise spinny wheelly no goey..removes all understeer, goes oversteer but i like that..like being on rails..then...feck off anti roll bars for road use..cos you will will want to boot it around corners...

ahh i see now gen 2..same as mine...got the diagrams for that...its on lextreme..kinda..but mine didnt av immobiliser,...fecking as now ..lol
 
so where you mount power steering pump..cos where u mount alt is where my pump is...i fit alt where ac was...
 
oh..change the timing belt before it goes...buy a kit from states...
 
power steering I plan to be where air con was, turbo charging- not for moment and yes I will do timing belt
