Looks RWD, the engine is mounted longitudinally not transverse.
not knowing anyfing about it,
but if yer droping a zetec in, then gear box & ford axle would be a doddle too.
front struts look like there from summt else, so maybe the whole body collection was simply dropped over an earlier ford like a sierra/granada, maybe a P100 pickup (no need fer body type change on V5?)
LZers can easily do this,
if yer can work on older Landies...
banger racing guys drop all sorts of bodies over chassis just fer the day,
and have been dropping power plants/gear boxes from elsewhere fer years too.
propshafts problems?
no probs, use a length of scaffold wiv the right U/J`s welded on each end.
harder to bend then thin walled tube, but tends to bend axles easily..
very much doubt its fer drag racing, as they use ally bodied series fer thet,
been done lotsa times,
I recon its a street racing thing...
