See note in red :p
What ever someone will pay for it! Got to be 2K min, I would say.

I'd replace my Disco with a 110 if the wife would drive it but she like her comforts. I'm just going to just keep patching up the Disco. With a fender it's only the chassis that needs patching, not like the Disco it's the WHOLE thing. It's bloody never ending.

just a quick note to let you all no the essex police are watchin big tyme and handing section 59s out like there going out of fashion ... i nerli got one today and drove one lane the biggest ford one near newport saffron walden .. i came down all the way from barnsley to rescue a mate that was stuck on a lane not sure wich one but i got the postcode and went to get him he got out went to do the ford and go home... a police officer in a mistubishi l200 met us at the other end of the lane sayin that we may be liable for a section 59 warning due to going down a lane thats open... not doin anything other than drive the lane within the regulations.. but according to the officer when we exit the lane we are causing a newsence by regrouping 3 landys and getting ready to go next lane it is apparently distressing to the village people and could land you a section 59 ... so i thought id just mention it ... 3 n 1/2hours driving down to help a mate that was stuck and then do one lane and get a 45min lecture off an officer what a day :) oh n 4 hour drive back :) p.s i do laning in the peaks many off here no me and what im like im no idiot when driving (especialy that lane i have no snorkal and water was over bonnet deep ) :)

copper full of ****e legal registered/insured vehicle coming off a legal green lane on to any street is prefect legal. 59 seems to be a catch all to scare you was ment for boy racers and off road vehicles[ not road legal motor vehicles 2 or 4 wheel] just go on line and print off section 59 and read it print a few copy's keep with you and then if happens again pull it out and ask copper to show you where you went wrong so you don't do it again.

yep used to be ;) lernt by mistakes lol :) same as everyone.... been out on a good few trips with davidsally pocket rocket and who ever else joined us :) so them lot no im no idiot hehe :) oh n p.s im 23 and a wagin driver :) just thought id let you all no on here abwt how the police are.... there is a lot off damage on the 2 lanes i went on with people / vehicles making their own routes and paths tracks etc. its a shame as its these people that will put an end greenlanes...... but for me 4hour drive is way too long to do greenlaning only went to help a very good mate that was stuck in a dike he hit a tree stump and slid into a drainage dike...... was going to ask for help on here but by time you ask etc people bein online getting in touch etc i wuda been down there so hence i went :)

Might join you, just got to sort out RTC damper and put wheels back on and I'm all sorted, ATs or MTs for Wales?

MT looking at the weather. I put the postcode of the lodge that we stayed in last year and the weather is dire up there. I reckon if we have a few more bad weeks, it'll be fun!

I still need to sort a spare out for Wales (265/75/16).
Anyone got one kicking around?

Got myself a new cb mount, so that's sorted.
Just need to sort breathers, snorkel and diff guard and then I'm sorted.

Nah just haven't found anything that the Defender does that the Disco couldn't but can think of plenty of thing the Disco was better at

The ABS isn't faulty and the lights don't fall out, other than that I'm stumped.
Oh and it's looks the nuts :D

I'm going to see how we get on with it in the winter and then make a decision in the spring. As a toy it's perfect, but with the loss of company car this will be our main car

To make it work I need some high back seats for the kids and stop the internal rain.
