Just a heads up guys I'm gonna hang on to the checker plate boot cover and the door seals to put on my 3 door.
Wide angle ball joint still for sale, first person to give me £30 gets it.
 
Needed to use the disco earlier and was worried the exhaust would fall off so I cut it off before I left. Sounds great and seems to rev a lot quicker.
 
lol, where abouts have you cut it?

I removed my backbox and it sounds :cool: Although everyone keeps telling me it sounds like its running on 3 lol.
 
I cut off my backbox and quite liked it, I then got a paddocks special which has no center, I tried it with no exhaust at all and it just sounded like a tank so now I got a back box and no center... I got a tailpipe section here somewhere with no box in it if you want it...
 
Cut off just after the back box as it had rotted around the clamp.
Thanks for the offer Jon, but I've agreed to buy the exhaust off Brian's breaker.
Just need to find some time to get over there.

Thinking about going over early one evening fitting it there. then a few hours laning around Braintree, Dunmow. Was hoping for this week but,may have I wait until next week. Anyone about next week?
 
Towed a transit with Rusty yesterday, had to borrow my bosses trailer as not sure if mine was wide enough.

Towed it fine but need to fit my de-cat and de-egr kit and tweak the pump a bit. Doesn't pull like Tiny did.

Is Thursday ok I could pop over after work, fit the exhaust grab some fast food and then check out a few lanes!
The TRO on the Dunmow lane is no longer listed on the ECC website. Would be interested to take a look at the repair?

There is another bit I need if I could collect with the engine? The rear exhaust mount, the bit that bolts onto the chassis/floor (cant remember now :rolleyes:)??

Sounds like a good plan to me.

Can't be out too late though as I've got to pick Mikey up from Gatwick at 4am Friday morning. :)

Really?? Has it been 2 weeks already?
 
Well me engines out now, ready for the new one, not looking forward to lining the box up but hopefully wont be too much of a mission... By the end of the week i should be ready for some laning at last!!

If your finished by Thursday night, I'm hoping to go out for a few hours once the exhaust is fitted.
 
I've just been down the ford at dunmow, it looks like the only thing they have done is flatted out the exit a bit.
