Thanks mate for that information - foot well seals here we come!! (going to learn to weld and weld them really but would be a quick fix) Would you recommend this over silicon for the installation of a snorkel?

Are you a MOT tester then?

I used tigerseal to seal up my snorkel and the airbox, in fact I use it for sealing anything, it really is multi purpose. All I will say is once its stuck it wont come off, it is after all a panel bonder designed for bodywork.

Im not a tester myself but I am a VT Admin and I run a garage with an MOT center and have got 4 testers working for me so I have to keep up with rules/regs e.t.c.

you should get all them details in your sig mate - thats great for advertisment! and always good to use someone we no for MOT's etc

Signed up to the LZ recovery! Looked at the map and I'm one of 2 in Essex surely few more are able to add! What happens of me and the other man gets stuck haha!

Last night was good fun :) Lanes are nice and muddy. Good easter was only around 2ft, Dunmow a bit deeper, nearly 3ft I would guess.

Sounds like you guys had more fun than me last night!! I managed to fit my engine last night but the bell housing wouldn't do up tight, I realised after about an hour that I had the locater pin in both the block and gearbox so I had to take it all out again, whilst doing that the seals went in my engine crane and dropped the engine in the bay all on the ****... lets just say I didn't go home in the greatest mood!!

Hopefully I will get it done soon, gotta fix me engine crane first tho, or get a new one...

Well little man is a very happy boy today as I bought him a winch for his landy;) even thou the misus said he couldn't have one after breaking the 3d tv:rolleyes: so waiting on some prices for steel and I've got to make a winch bumper :) any ideas on the best place to relocate the solenoid ?

Oh hope they get it back. I'll keep my eyes peeled.
I remember a previous thread where the CCTV had picked up a Evo just before a 90 got nicked -also south Essex.

Jai would have loved to, but have arranged to collect some steel for a new winch bumper I'm making but defo will next time.

Do you know what day and time you're coming yet? Also, if you just mock up any cuts or panels you want from card then we can just blast them out with the plasma cutter ;)

I'd like to join you.
Maybe I will when the sills are done.
F@@@@@ whether, Wheather, wether, (it's got to be one of those surely)....lol

Excellent news and talking exhausts. Thanks for your help last night Brian all fitted and rather quiet, which I guess is good.

We had time for a few lanes and fords which were fun, but need to make a day of it soon.
