I'll be here. What time you getting here?

You'll be doing the job with my tools as I need to change the front brakes on the Beemer.

 not far off! Was some deep puddles at Essex off road.
Can you turn up on the day and pay for membership Sunday? Might come along if I get Tiny repaired in time.

Yes, I'll be doing the same.

£5 one off joining fee.
£25 membership per year.
£10 for the driving day.

Hopefully see you there!

Just been on the SLROC forum. You get a driving day free when you join so Sunday you could just pay joining fee and membership for a year and use your free driving day voucher :D I'll be joining on the day.

Also.... just a quick question. Picked up a tow rope and bridle. What shackles should I use to attach it to my Disco? Is 4.75 ton rating enough? DB1012 - BOW SHACKLE Or do I need bigger?

See you all Sunday. You'll all keep me and my flask of tea company won't you  ?

4.75 ton should be enough for a 2 ton Land Rover lol. I've been using a range from 2 ton up to 7 and there all fine.

See how it goes for Sunday, need to get hold of a new headlight and a pair of indicators as a minimum.

There is a landrover breakers in Essex I am going to visit later. I will find out how much for a light and indicators. What is the headlight from? Did you say a later td5?

If thats the one near Ongar good luck, Headlights go very quickly and he didnt have any when I asked a couple of months ago :(

No luck with the lights mate and no luck getting to you.

Traffic diverted off a12 to copdock so when I eventually got off the slip road at marks tey after 90 minutes I headed for Braintree and home.

Interesting listening to the cb though. Plenty of info from the truckers, never been so busy on channel 19. :)

My landy is not very well. She's drinking loads of oil and smoking like a family on benefits. :(

I have a feeling that night in the puddle is gonna spell it's death. :(

Did not get hold of the bearings for today..... :-( , time just sort of flew by this week.

So if anyone is going to SLROC can I ponce a ride round the course please.
