Well a fun day, bit ****ed off with the re-arranged nose, but driver error:doh:
Should have walked the course first and used a little less gas.
Double hill, needed momentum to get over the first and second, but didn't know about the sharp left turn after the hill:(

Anyway It'll get sorted, but timing could have been better.
A few of the photo's attached + 3 clips (see links below):

I really don't think that wing will polish out.
excellent day. Only got stuck once, and thats because the marshal said it was doable, he was telling porkies, no one managed it.

He just wanted to bully the newbie and get you stuck :D After you had got out, a cone magically appeared in front

My starter motor has gone too  Doing exactly the same as yours. I've come to the conclusion that mine is full of crap. Gonna pressure wash it today and see what happens. Going to make a shield for it underneath and see if what works.

Looks like a good day :D

I was out round Braintree yesterday with a few guys from the Brentwood club :) One of the lanes in particular is a right laugh now :D

Also saw 2 Discos parked up outside McD's at Freeport around 2pm? anyone here? they looked a bit clean though :D

Wickford90 was you driving through wickford late afternoon/early evening yesturday (20th) saw a black 90 (think it was black was properly covered in mud :biggrin1:) if it was you it looked like you'd been having some fun :D

The bit of a laugh lane you mean is probably the one north of Braintree off the A131. The one I managed to drown mine in and had to get home courtesy of the AA. :)

There are loads of great lanes round this way.

Yep thats the one, loads of fun at 45 degrees with muddy water splashing off the drivers window :D did it 2 or 3 times last year but it was nothing like that

My door is now full of water :D

By the way the the old S3 being kenetcily recovered had popped its Rad, and has got to get a new one thats what all the steam was.........

Hope his engine didn't get too hot, i questioned him on this and he said it was from the exhaust manifold:doh:

very dodgy, and the marshall werent too bothered either!

First time I've ever seen it done! Now understand why they must be used with caution.
