LOL, you will be ripping the carpet out once it gets wet a couple of times as otherwise this time next year you wont have a floor left :D

Yeah I've been told that, i must admit thats one thing i don't really want to do. I guess its just a case of deciding either don't drive through water and keep your carpets or ditch the carpets and go for a swim.

You'll all be pleased to know I've temporarily resolved my ignition problem

I've edited it for ya!

or internal fuel take to save damage!
Im referenceing to the uPol Raptor that ive used instead of carpets!

Well I had a set of four 275/40x20 Pirelli Scorpions fitted to the TD5 today! What a difference they make. Drives lovely and smooth now!
What my mate at the tyre place showed me scared me though! Remoulded Pirellis! People using old branded tyres and keeping the original sidewalls so it shows the make, size, and worryingly the speed and load ratings, and just sticking new tread round it. So could lead to anyone buying what they think are branded tyres when in fact theyre really not! I dont think ill ever buy tyres from ebay or such like ever again. Especially when i get such a good price from them and theyre fully guaranteed, so if i get a puncture, or i damage it in any normal way, i.e. hit a pot hole and damage it or kerb etc he will repair or replace for free.

Right tonight a box has turned up for the wife and it's my Christmas pressy weighs a ton and is huge I hope its landy goodies.

Also dan I told you mud tyres. And yes carpets gone in mine due to this advise. Maybe it's too nice to go offroad dan lol

Don't suppose any of you boys were out laning this afternoon around Colchester way? More specifically Ardleigh? Series LWB at the front and 90 pickup at the back? Just wondering as I live in the area and the convoy drove straight past the only lane I know of around here. I'm hungry for knowledge of other lanes close to me is all...

Was that you in the 90 (blue?) with muds and a few toys?
You were in front of me (LWB 109) for a mile or so.

As Geoff said, your welcome to join us on the 28th, nothing too rough we will have a mixture of standard and modified Landys on the day.

It all went smoothly and to plan.
We caused some disruption but I think everybody understood as all the vehicles had black ribbon.
There were 11 landys and 1 jeep.
I think Jon would have been proud.
