yes stu you are not wrong there the lift is a headache as there is just sooo so much to take on board as well
yes if i lift it i will defo do the trailing arms and new brake lines
thats the issue the more u talk to ppl the more they advise you to somfin else
think it will be all terrafirma stuff in the end my be medium duty springs
yeah its a mine field,
I first did mine with a block kit using standard Shocks, they were ok, just lacked the articulation, used them until my Shocks went, realy a good cheep halfway house, I took the front and rear anti roll bars off, gave a little bit more articulation.
I then brought a Britpart 2" (its a 40mm kit) kit, with dislocation cones, all ok, there but would a like a bit more, so will be doing a 2" body lift some time shortly.
After seeing Chris's rear set up think that is the way I will go, ie +2" springs with +5" Shocks..... loads of articulation and use the Dislocation cones from Gwyn Lewis.

As far as the radius arms goes yes you will change the geometry a bit, and the steering will be a bit vague, these can be done later. same with the trailing arms, unless you wearing out bushes.
Propshafts, I have not done these, and dont really notice much, the more you lift the more you will notice, it, and the more you will have problems,
best to see if you have a problem some people do some dont for some reason.
Reason I will be lifting the body next not doing a 4" is that it will keep the CoG as low as I can , also dont put any more stress on the radius/trailing arms. yes it does leave a gap between the body and bumper but hey easy filled.
