but Mikey i have the bat light on all the time and lost the rev counter not sure a clump with a hammer would sort it lol

The rev counter senses the rotations of the alternator to give you your rpm through brushes and slip rings. same as the charging part. give it a good jet out and if not a whack......

after all it free! and has always worked for me and several others.

all i say is worth a try before shelling out and changing it!

Nick (Discodad).

Had a great day at bures today, no damage but the wheels and brakes were caked in clay. I have just spent the last 3 hours cleaning it all out.
At least when I go to work tomorrow (a120,m11,m25,m1) I can go over 50 without my fillings vibrating loose.

I have 1 rear brake pad down to the metal but that was not bures, I knew I had a sticking piston but did not expect the pad to wear so quickly.

Got to change my rear axel so new calipers will also be fitted. :)

Had a really great day at Bures lads and good to meet more of the group.

When I was jet washing my disco afterwards I was especially pleased with the shear amount and variation of scratches I found, There was short ones, long ones, deep ones..... and rumour has it that next time the scratches are going to bring there Buddy BIG DENT with them and then I'll have a proper off roader! LOL

I have attached a few pictures of the day but there not that good I'm afraid.

Looking forward to the next time chaps:D

What was the disco in pic 5 trying to do !
looks like a good day was had, still not been to Bures yet.

If anyones interested we are having a club comp at Canewdon, a punch hunt, also with winch challenge sections and some speed trials. Its all for FUN there will be bits for most cars but at least a front winch is recommended, some of them a front rear and middle winch WILL be needed :D, spectators welcome.

More info here including directions
entries still availible just PM me and pay on the day £ 25 entrance

A bit short notice I know but there you go

Worth a look even if its just to have a nose around the site.
