Oh ****in wonderful...... Just went to nip out to swap a few cylinders of gas. Got up the road and there was a loud clicking banging noise from rear n/s

Gonna be pulling that to bits today, didn't feel safe to drive at all.

I wonder if it was my new stupidly huge tyres that put some extra strain on a worn component???

Strange drive to work this morning with the 2" lift.
The front feels ok but the back feels like it don't have anything to do so it starts skipping round corners.

It will do, mine does it every now and then. I believe it is to do with the angle of the dangle underneath. Cranked arms or offset bushes next ;)

Went to a P&P near Stansted yesterday. Had a good laugh and the truck performed really well. Unfortunatly I bent the rear steering arm  i also need to camel cut my rear arches as i bent them to fook :D fronts also need triming as they are slicing my tyres

Would be good to find out where it is as I remember UKmudmaster talking about it when we was out one night.

I didn't know they was one there. Do they have a website?

No, its just a guy with a farm who also likes landies and is part of our local club. He has a bit of land at the back of his farm that he has made into a small course and runs days every other month or so.

Bare in mind it was far more bent than this and had been straighten out enough to get us home.

Got one of me bucket seats in today:) used the original seat frame so i can still move it back and forth and welded some brackets on so it's a little higher, so glad I got me mig welder so much easier than making up brackets with bolts:D any how heres a pic, it's just a shame they ain't blue to match the chequer plate, not sure wether to put in the harneses or just go with the normal seat belts?

Would you not need a cage to pick up on for the harnesses?

As far as i am aware alot of the harnesses dont seem to pick up on the existing seatbelt mounting?

I could be wrong so worth clarifying first....

That looks good there Tusken :)

Oh and sorted my rattling/banging........ brake pad fell of the metal bit!!! Yes that's right, the pad - the bit that wears away fell off the metal bit (that the callipers push against). An hour later and a box of genuine Land Rover pads and it's now fixed. Glad it wasn't anything major!
