I've got some vouchers for a chain inn of some description. I'd rather stay there than a funk house

Have you got the thick black carpet in yet? If not, I'll wait and do all the land rover mats and boot when you get it.

I dont like the fine rib as it doesn't wear very well.

PM's sent confirming details for Saturday.
If I missed anyone or anyone else is joining please PM me or any of the above users who can pass on the details.

I've checked the Essex County Council website for updated TRO's and looks like our route is OK. The only TRO in the area we will be is 'Shalford Byway 13'
I will have a detailed look at the OS map tomorrow night to identify it and make sure its not ont he route.

Its worth printing the TRO list, that way if we are challenged (very unlikely) then we can prove we have a right of way.

I've also linked the SLROC webpage with their 'Drivers Code of Conduct'

Look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday :D:D:D

Guess who is awaiting an RAC recovery

Won't start @ all.
sometimes fire's on 1 / 2 cylinders.

Cleaned out the sedimentor and changed the fuel filter @ the weekend. I think my problem is air related and the local 4x4 garage think the lift pump is knackered. When you pump it there is no resistance at all.

RAC man just phoned and will be here in 30 mins & Mansfield think they can replace the lift pump today, if thats what it is!

Hopefully RAC will get it going or get it recovered to Mansfields intime for a lift pump to be fitted today.
Fingers crossed.

Fail. :( Good luck with getting it sorted.
My knackered bolt remover set has turned up so hopefully tomorrow I will successfully change my gearbox.
Helpers/tea drinkers welcome. :)

Ok so you're gonna book yours yeah? You gonna stay at the place I linked to?

Just noticed with Grange Farm that for an extra £5 per night they let you park an additional car on a pitch. If they let you have an extra tent me and Mikey might as well share a pitch lol.

How far is it from the main show?

Is the sedimentor & filter sealed right, the lift pump could be trying to lift air.

Back now.
RAC failed to get it going, so towed me to Mansfield's.
Lift pump replaced and fuel filter bracket fixed as I had overtightned the bleed screw and damaged the thread. Done it whilst i waited and all up and running.

Seems to have a bit more get up and go. Could this be down to the new lift pump?
