Spent a few hours saturday and sunday on mine, head is back on, just need to finish the timing belt. didnt have the o ring or front cover seal

So... is this maintenance day on Sunday 20th March still going ahead?? Things have gone a bit quiet on that front...

If so, was there going to be a PM at some point giving us the postcode/address etc... and times to be there? :):):)

Yep, its all on for This Sunday.

I will find out the Postcode from Drizz and I will PM you with that, plus a meeting point for those who would rather follow me there.

The Postcode seems to work for me, but it is in the sticks so some sat Navs may struggle.

I was thinking of meeting at the entrance to the Bures Off Road site, there is a patch of hard standing at the entrance.

The unit is about 5 minutes from there.

Probably starting about 9.00am so we get a full day, i'll probably grab some Macdonalds and wait at the Pit entrance from about 8.45am.

I will add my mobile number to the PM for those that dont have it.

SHHIIIITTTTT!!!!!

I bet that was a bit of a brown-trouser moment!!!

Good job the kid got out. And he was lucky if only cut and bruised. I'm sure he'll think a little bit harder before he does anything like that again!

I'll be eating in Braintree first, then heading to Sudbury so a bit of a detour for you Nick, but your welcome to join me at about 8.15.

Thats 15 minutes to get food and eat, then 15 minutes to the Bures Pit entrance. ;)

I have seen that video a few times before.. Notice he is in a hard top 90 and that leg is sticking through his alpine window!! How it didn't get severed off I don't know!!!:eek:

Just checked google maps to Sudbury (town centre) and looks like I'll be travelling on the B1066 (thro Stoke by Nayland). Given my cooling system, I just want to get there, thanks anyway.

The Disco hasn't been started for over a week now.
Checked the header tank today, nearly empty. Not sure what she will be like once warmed up and the system is pressurised:eek:

Might try and get Friday afternoon booked off & get the gasket sorted before Sunday?

Well would appear a faulty starter motor is to blame for Tiny not running. That'll be the starter motor I bought new 3 months ago.
Still company I got it off were helpful enough, gotta take it off and post it back to them and wait for a replacement.

Good new and bad news then, at least you know whats wrong and the company has been good about it.

But who pays the postage back to them?

JUst an idea......

Can you see where the leak is coming from in the gasket?

if its a small leak cant you just bodge it up with a resin of some sort untill you get there on sunday?, or is that a silly sugestion, would save you time on friday.
