conversion section for measurements such as

imperial to metric tyre sizes ( be verry helpful to most peps in the series section

imperial to metric spanner sizes would be a fekkin big help to anyone who is working on any landy ( speshuly newbies )

and imperial to metric feeler gauge lists for things like valve and rocker clearances ( coz im sick of not being able to read me imperial ones with the sizes worn off but can read the metric ones )

also a list of funny and odd sizes for speshul things such as yer need a 41mm socket for the crank pulley nut on a 12j engine

also handy little hints n things people have figured out to make things easier like backbleeding brakes and clutches with a hydraulic oil can

im sure a section full of this info will go a long way to filter out the mass of newbie questions that appear on a daily basis and may help towards de-stressing the peeps who hit the roof when newbies ask such things

is this a good idea ive had or just another stupid babble ive come up with :confused:

spanners are easy. put them all on 1 pocket and keep grabbing new ones till it fits! If none of them fit, grab the adjustable.

i know the spanners are easy as that but its a bloody long winded way round things when a 13mm wont fit over the rust and a 14mm is gonna crunch the rust off then round the nut then yer onto the imperial buggers one by one to get the one that fits poorley to round it off a little more

appooximately 30 mins of this then you get the grinder out or drill the bugger out causing another 15 mins work n stress

then look at the other dozen or so bolts n nuts holding the part you want to remove on and wonder why did i start this job and then think fook

this is gonna take all bastid weekend at this rate

where looking up the conversions would have made all the difference :D:D
