Where does the big earth go? I seem to remember when I took it off it was on one of the bell housing bolts?

Anyone know which wire goes to FIP. There’s a white one and a white one with brown markers. One goes to FIP and one to oil pressure sensor
On the 300Tdi the oil pressure sensor is white with brown and the stop solenoid on the FIP is black. Sorry, don't have wiring diagrams for 200

New radiator and intercooler. Sanded down the frame and resprayed it. Got some new decals to replace the nackered old ones.

She lives. Thanks to all that gave advice. I particular @jamesmartin @dieseldog69 @Al2O3 @Flossie You guys have been awesome. Thank you so much for your help and advice.

Slight issue - seems to be leaking a not small amount of black oil out of the exhaust. I'm not too worried I think this is just residual crap in the exhaust having been sat outside for 9 months. Can't think of anything else that would cause that so quickly in a new rebuilt engine. It's running sweet with good oil pressure.

Oh man that is just fookin awesome, well done that lad :D

Glad I had something to add, usually it's just jibberish LOL :)

So when is the maiden voyage?

So the turbo is ****ing oil out the back and into the exhaust. Very disappointing as I paid a fair wack to have it rebuilt. I can only assume the oil seals have failed immediately. Also meant that the oil ran low (bottom of the dip stick) for a bit not by much and the pressure was decent throughout. If the oil level is a bit low but the oil pressure is adequate (lowest was 35 - 40psi) I'm assuming that isn't going to have done any real harm to the engine?

Lucky to have not failed into the intake and run away.

That's bloody annoying  It's a hell of a fail and could have been nasty.
If the oil in the sump was high enough to still show on the dipstick and with that pressure, I reckon it'll be fine.

Just annoying when you're let down buy a company you paid to do a job. I'm temped just to buy a new turbo
