Greetings,

My current ride a 4.6 HSE (M Plate) has just activated the Post Christmas cash dispersal system and generated an EAS Fault, I have the gear and no idear and read the fault(s) with the OBD2 and it gave me loads, also having reset Unlocked the EAS it just does nothing and laughs at me.

Dont suppose that there is anyone near Newbury who can offer some advice and help, other than a box of swan vestas and a litre of kero.

Thanks

What do you mean by 'it does nothing'? The faults get cleared, but it just sits there waiting to rise to normal height?

I get the streams of data correctly, so the ECU is cycling OK, but by pressing the Unlock EAS It does not clear the faults, they remain and the ECU does not reset.

Any ideas would be gratefully received.

Yes, the received and send cycle through all FF's. I think when I hit unlock it gives either FD or TD but then nothing happens, the EAS fault message has gone, but I still get all four lights lit on the ride height indicator and the pump does not power up.

I have been jumping the pump (connector 1 - 8) to get some air in the springs, and the pump runs and inflates the springs and when it is turned off it remains at that height.

OK, tried a different driver for the conversion lead from my laptop and now it does unlock and let me reset. I still get fault 144, but my suspension settles if I go over the sleeping policeman in my road if it has been running for about 5 minutes, its like a front end bump settles it.

My next question is: is it a faulty sensor?
