The bumpers are metal under the plastic. Very solid.
Grrrrrr, Haha nothing behind my rear plastic cover on the 2002 Vogue.
Also on the CVC its equally poor and gone to the scrap man!
I will find a proper one for CVC one - not so fussed about my 2002 Vogue.

Also another update!
New front left sensor not working on wading heaight.
Also the car going down far enough after 24 hours to go into a hard fault - so must still have a leak somewhere

Really? I have a black bumper on my 1995 DT and under the plastic skin is what looks like an RSJ. When I drilled the holes for the parking sensors I went through about 3 hole saws, albeit cheapo tungsten - carbide ones off the Bay.

I reckon he has an L322, they were introduced from 2001.

Not keen on the L322.
The bumper crash bar is completely rotted out, side mounts rotted and its held on with cable ties

Cable ties are all very well but call me old fashioned, I prefer bailing twine.

Hi all,
Update on my Suspension.
Everything is working OK but... I think there is a leak drivers side front, I have not replaced the air springs yet.
Rear air springs replaced and has transformed ride quailty.
The car is driving perfectly fine with no suspension faults, I think air compressor is working a bit more than usual as need calibration - my guess.
I have not calibrated the height sensors yet but have the car sitting level - maybe a bit too high at the front?
I will replace the front air springs and calibrate the ride heght and report back.

You only have to calibrate the suspension if the height sensors are changed but a quick going over the settings is a good idea at least. 😁
Height sensors have been changed front and rear Mark, i have only eyeballed it and inputted figures into Nanocom, It is 'doing the dance' when I switch off and start up, as my car is a rolling resto daily driver and other things have got in the way of calibration job - the boss would say procrastination haha

A-ha, OK understood.
Make sure your Tyres pressures are correct at the time of doing so... You probably know this🤣
