hi guys have the dreaded eas fault slow 35mph max coming up on the dash,
the car has been sat for just over 12months have tried the eas kicker lite to clear fault but nothing,is there any thing i can try please?
i cannot hear the compressor kicking in at all.please help
 
try tapping the relay for the eas pump , it's as good as anywhere to start . also the fuse , if it's blown it may be because the pump has seized .
 
Download the free EAS software from www.rswsolutions.com and buy or make the lead.
The compressor will not run with the "slow 35mph" message on the screen so don't waste time lookong at the compressor, read and clear the fault.

Datatek, are you still able to supply the EAS software on a disc and the necessary lead for less than anyone on ebay?

hi data gone on there but says error.
have checked all fuses already,is there a seperate one elsewhere for it?
 
wammers i understand that but how do i get it cleared,will the kicker lite not do it?anything i can get or shall i just get voguese out to it

As Data said get the lead and EASunlock software. Data can supply it cheap as chips, well worth the outlay. A lot less that £20.00 with post i would think. You would of course need a laptop to work it on. Kickers are fine if it's just a glitch but won't tell you what the fault is. With EASunlock you can work on EAS realtime.
