Hi Guys, got an update!!

Went away for the weekend, so didnt get a chance to put the fully charged battery back in. Just done it.

Ok, this was the order of attack

Manually unlocked car
Put key in ignition and turned to position 2
Put battery in place and connected up
Checked faults, all cleared within seconds
Started car, EAS levelled up after about 5 minuntes of running

It's now sitting proudly at ride height.

However, two remaining things - displays alternates between "RH Window not set" and "LH window not set" when I use them.
&
Says computing range / computing mileage, but im guessing it will work this out when I drive it.

Anyway, looks back on the road with a flat battery caused by minor EAS leak.
Any advice on the window errors would be great.

Thx
Vinny

put window down and hold down for four seconds, put window up and hold for four seconds then windows should be set,do this for all windows.

cheers, that worked a treat, but didnt seem to for the sunroof message, which is the same type, so i tried the same thing...??

yeah tried that Gav as that seemed logical, but still got the msg. will give it another go tomorrow tho.

FYI - EAS pump coming on quite frequently still, so think it's going to end up going the same way, but can't see any leaks. When I managed to get the rear raised before battery totally died last week, it stayed at full height, so im not sure it's even a lead. Air dryer pipe isnt fully in, but sprayed it and no bubbles in fluid around it!?!?

it seems you have had a bit of strange bad luck with it! i honestly, apart from the initial eka code stuff, havnt had any wierd stuff going on!

i would do it a few times as it can miss the signal or get confused. make sure you got engine running/good battery

I didn't have to do the EKA code - used a tip of RR.net to have the key in position 2 when connecting the battery, and I disconnected the battery when the car was not locked / immobilised...

i think it only works when you dont lock it that trick, i.e it assumes you are doing maintenance. the theory makes sense!

You have to do the sunroof open/close procedure all in one smooth movement with the tilt function included - it doesn't work if you stop between the open and tilt procedures - can take several goes to work!!!!:):)

hi gav did you have to get spacers for your wheels?

not needed on the wheels i got, the nuts have a collar and it was/felt a good tight fit on the hub. got a friend of stepdads to check it out and he helped put em on. he builds bikes so he's no stranger to the implications of safety at speed!:D:D:D:D:D

all in all a very good buy, £160 for four wheels with good tyres, inc fitting!!! if anyone can beat that then they are really searching the bargains out!!!
