Evening all.

Only gone and bought another discovery, but this time she's something else...

She's a 1989, G registered, 3 door with sonar blue inside (obviously), with 33x12.5 Mickey Thomson Baja MTZ's, lift and a couple of other things.
Been sat in a garden in Worcester for 2 years, but despite this is largely solid, certainly the best one I've owned! Put a battery on her, no heat, started 2nd swing over and ran beautifully! Dead chuffed.








Now the plan for her is to repair the 3 holes, sort the 2 duff lights and ummm.... service.... try for an MOT!

Now for the disco twitchers out there, she does have a few tell tale early features, bonnet pull on drivers side, wide throttle pedal, smooth rocker cover breather with over the rocker cover pipe and round dip stick . But does have all 4 dash vents. Any other pointers towards other early features very welcomed!

I've not been this excited about a purchase for a while... It's decent... Doesn't flex as well as my rather unassuming series though

She went though an MOT reasonably easily, few days of welding, new king pin bearings and wiper blades. Minimal advisories!


Problems with her so far; waste-gate was stuck shut but easy fix, passenger door is tattered, exhaust knocks on chassis rail where it goes under it and the clutch slips a little if you give her hell though normal driving it's fine so will wait till new year when a gearbox with synchro left goes in!

Other wise I'm dead happy
