I was seating in my 2008 hse auto freelander waiting for my wife to return from the shops,
I adjusted the seat recline but by mistake i touched one of the memory buttons, so the seat shifted to that position, i then decided to push another memory button the seat shifted again and that is where it has stayed , its all most impossible to drive because the seat is so far forward and i am 6`1" ,

now when i try to move the seat i can hear the relay click, in fact if i use all the different adjustment switches they all click as if they are passing on the information to move the seat but nothing happens,
PLEASE CAN ANY ONE HELP !!!

Welcome to the forum

Memory buttons may not be working but are the normal ones that move each separate part working?

yes Hi so are you saying it can be any one, or is the problem more likely to be one that has recurred in the past on more landys,
i have checked the fuse in the clove compartment , is there one under the seat,

No they all make a click like the buttons have made a closed circuit but nothing happens.

See if they will move the seat without you sat in it. Failing that then it's back to basics. As above, fuses... check power is getting there. Is the wiring below the seat ok. Then take it from there.

I have exactly the same problem. I touched the memory button whilst cleaning the seat and now can’t get the seat to recline forward enough
