So this week I have been looking at some clearing my task list which is littered with odds and sods. One of which I was inspired to do following,
  1. Getting stuck up a slope in the snow
  2. getting crap inbetween my rim and tyre meaning it deflates
  3. not having diff lockers so i need more traction
  4. everywhere I look they're either expensive or they aren't available

What am I talking about? Bead Lockers

So today I modeled the items up ready for production, along with the wheels I am using on the Hornet. I have coloured the items so you can see what the New Kit will contain as YES, I am going to get these done, so if you want a set then please PM me your interest and I will sort out qty's and prices.

Basically the Inner ring (Magenta) will be welded to the rim of the steel wheel.
Then four Torque Rings (Yellow) will self align and provide a fulcrum and spacer for the tyre bead.
The Outer Ring (Green) will then secure to the inner ring using 32 M8 stainless steel bolts and nyloc nuts. I may introduce inserts to make life easier but at the moment this is an exercise to see if they are uselful.

Here's the picture and if people have any experience with which I can gain then please let me know.

any idea on how much it may cost? ball park figure.

Not 100% yet and dont want to guess. I will be sending the drawings out tomorrow and see where I get. Pointing the question back at you, what would you pay for a set in your mind? PM me if you want to keep it quiet :D

Just wondered if there was interest as I go.

Yeah I see where you're coming from, however anything stuck in the rim and left there, may eventually puncture the inner tube. But I agree thats one idea
