what if u were born with an extra finger?? ;)
Oh n where did you get the wing repair patch from?

Well my misses would be very happy lol :D

The quarter panel repair patch was specially made by me. It is actually a road sign I had lying around which is made from polyurethane sandwiched between two sheets of 1mm Ali. I have a cunning plan to hide the colour....

good golly gosh that looks fabulous. my advice would be to never use it so you can savour the beauty!

imagine how you will feel when it looks like this for the first time:

its just TOO nice to get ****ed up, but thats what its built for :(

That's just insane Sam. Absolutely brilliant and I can't wait to get down and dirty.

You know I could never understand why winches are mounted low at the front. They should be on the roof as that way you wouldn't have to get dirty while recovering lol

Looks like you were having lots of fun...... Superb

this is how it happened!

What a great vid. That lane is not really well used at the moment I bet. Should have done the river crossing afterwards lol. Nice.

Well today I bled the brakes using the ezibleed you suggested. I only used 11psi and it worked really well, very easy. The brakes are a lot better although when I build up pressure and keep my foot down, the pedal goes to the floor slowly.,I can only assume that theremismstill a little air in the system or the master cylinder is knacked. I am going to bleed again when the weather brightens as I spent all day in the rain just to try and finish it off. No kidding I was ****ed wet through lol.

Anyhow almost ready for the MOT now but the boot floor knackered all my drill bits so I need to get some more 3.8mm bits to finish it off.

So as soon as the sun comes out I will give her a wash and polish and then post some pics of her all done.

Just watched the video in #343, can just imagine some bobble hatters arriving and can only imagine their reaction. Ho Ho.

Hi

It didn't look like it had been driven for a while, pools were well settled. That massive pile of sludge ran down the hill and collected at the bottom as it was driven. I would have loved to find a river but we weren't anywhere near any that weren't TRO'd! :(

Bobble brigade may have pulled a face but there was no foul play to speak off.

And yes it is dalby, somewhere. Didn't see a person in the whole place, was a bit eerie tbh. There were lots of tracks around the place, would like to go back and spend a day there, there was lots of dry tracks aswell as this messy one.

Cheers.

Air in the system will make the pedal spongey. If the pedal slowly sinks to the floor with pressure on, you're either leaking fluid or the master cylider is knackered.

What a legendary vehicle!! Goddammit I need a body lift, then I can fit 35s!

Not sure if it would get inside work though, a major consideration!!

Oh and Ian, I tested my pedal (for you) yesterday and I'm afraid to say that once pressure is built up it is solid, and does not sink at all.

Sucks to be you right now :(

Thanks chap. Yeah it does especially as I am trying to upload photos of the car and having issues doing that as well. :(

Very very nice...

Cheers redhand, just have a few finishing touches before starting on the winch bumper and cage etc.

I have to sort out the white repair panels so they don't look an eye sore and then finish painting the chassis and front axle.

Hopefully a good start to the new year.

Happy New Year to all my thread followers
