I replaced the tailgate window seal today - never again.
I thought it would be just a bit more difficult than the seal on the 1/4 panels, I was wrong. It was very frustrating.
Old seal - particularly bad in the top corners.
Stanley blade to cut around the seal to release the glass.
Cleaned up the glass and the window frame on the tailgate.
Put the new seal on, taping it around as I went to aid with initially putting it on.
and a big gap in photos where I was putting the window back in - but the window finally back in with the new seal.
I then tinted the rear window - it isn't perfect but it's good enough.
and removed the rear LED lamp that was wired into reverse.
This is currently how it stands, still need to fit the wing.
