Hi guy's just Had my disco td5 in the garage due to heater not working and they've told me theyre 220+VAT for a genuine new one.that seems expensive to me, are they taking the p@ss?:mad:
 
Im in west Yorkshire m8, near Cleckheaton. Its in garage at the moment the new blower motor isnt arriving while morning, was just wondering if anyone had ever priced one up and if 220 seems a lot for one
 
Discos are expensive when new, so that's not expensive for heater on a £30000 + vehicle, is it?

All u can do if u wish to have new LR genuine or OEM replacement parts is shop around for the best price, u will find some difference, but u will at least have a warranty on the part, as u will if u put the work in the hands of a garage.. :)
 
I've got a spare in the garage, think its off a later TD5, bought it to replace mine but was a little different.
 
Contacted Copley landrover and got a price for one earlier and got a price on one and they quoted £223+vat so my minds at rest! Just cant stand cowboys! ! sure weve all experienced them at some point or another. Thanks guys

thats the best thing to do contact land rover as they will be the expensive :D
