Made some decent progress! got the cage all done, welded on, finished patching the cab, mounted the exhaust, and mounted the fuel tank!

^^^^ i apoligise for the above coment... i left laptop on whilst i went for ciggy and my partner who gets anoyed with me always talking bout landys........ but liking the thread :) looking good.

ha ha im trying to get her in to landys im slowly getting there managed to get her to sell a saxo for a little 4x4 :) and she just gets fed up as im always doing somthing on my landy ha ha.

remember that the water hoses need to be done in such a way that if they were to burt nobody can get burnt. should be shielded usually by a metal and should not pass through the cab unless again shielded in such a way if they burst nobody gets burnt.
 
Made a filler neck for the fuel tank, turned down the end of a large threaded bit of brass and added a brass cap... soldered a bit on top for a opening handle

the main reason its squared is that there is only 1 place without travelling miles that bend pipe (scaffolding) and they are a freaking rip off!
so more fund derived, but it wouldnt be to hard to change at a later date, only a few pop rivets.
but i will see what it looks like after the sides go on.
