Diff centre or carrier they reduce the dia not massively but enough to fit their large thrust pads I have made small buttons and reduced the dia if the p38 centre as a try but an yet to assemble things keep taking over. I have 2 sets of HD halfshafts for the front kam set and either Ashcroft or LR not sure 24 23. Just every time Inget in the shed something else is on the list.

No time for fun stuff :-(

Or should I say, doesn't look like mine has been turned down

Has about 12-14mm of crownwheel face exposed?

Seems about standard, this Diff has about 13.5mm of face before the chamfered edge.

I should be able to put the diff in the lathe, I would need to figure out how to support the other end mind you, its quite a bit of overhang.

Good video of the twist off on facebook Mark, I managed 8ft nd a wee bit on Sunday & Monday after abit of fiddling, the front end is very limited as still running stock front arms! Ricks 110 & Steves 90 both running 1 link front set up if you saw it, going to be putting one on mine and then should be getting near the level as Steve that won the twist off lol!
Rick got the highest but had to deduct points as longer wheelbase!

Can go a lot more on the ramp backwards but is a shame they stop you soon as ya back tyre is off.

Its a shame we couldn't have said hello. Are you going to the main LR show?
8ft is still a very good result!, yea i saw a couple with 1 links.. defiantly backs up my plan of doing the 1 link.
I'm going to have a secret weapon for the twist off ;) I wont tell you untill I've won it lol :D
How are you going about the 1 link, you making it or buying a kit?
BTW apart from the guy doing the commentary it was BHCLRC doing the marshaling.

Cheers, I had no idea when I started.. only had a lil saxo which I messed with.
Its a huge learning curve!
Don't hesitate to ask any questions.

Cheers

Yep I'll be there at the main one with RAC. I will buy it but Thats as much as I'm saying! They were made by a "bloke" I can't remember his name but it's with Cambridge fabrications and they've sort of stopped/ put it on hold at the minute.

I'm not saying anymore on here about it lol as it's quite a delicate situation at the min as there are future plans. If you do make one ya self don't put it into the public for purchasing as there will be a big row about it.

It's a great product though and completely transforms the suspension.

Ooo and id love to year your secret weapon for the twist off lol!! Can't really do alot more than a 1 link with 4link rear set up??

Last year I spoke with the guy from MIB about his mates with caimbridge fab, he said they had a couple left and cost about a grand... then it did sounds like a great solution but just to much! hence why I'm making it :)

He said about these big 4x4 company's (naming no names) and how they slate their product, but I've read **** loads from Pirate 4x4 about the 1 links and they are basically the same as a radius arm setup but without the restrictions.

They are quite a bit under a 1k and they use the normal radius arm mounts on the axle. The product is great and supposed to be better/stronger than the normal radius arm setup but with full freedom of travel.

Im not going to say anything about mib or company's in public as there is a lot to be said!

Just a little question about your tray back, did you get any additional tests done to get the car road legal?
