Hope that wasn't sandy lane. I got a txt from one of the local green lane guys not on here reckons someone was ####ing about in an offroader and reported the plate to plod an something about a video on his phone. He was taking his kids out biking.
Have you got a facet type fuel pump?? Can mount on bobbins search for erly RRC carb model they should have a part number for bobbins I'm at the same stage I was going to mount my fuel pump directly in the chassis thinking its going to be mega noisy so may use bobbins myself

Its been great catching up on your build, it looks great and has come along leaps and bounds since I last looked some months ago.
With your three link set up, make sure that the braking forces are taken in compression on the third link and not tension as is the case with the most farmiliar items on the market. This is why they snap more often than not. It is a good idea to extend the radius arms too if you can accomodate it as that will help put less stress on the bushes throughout the radius arm linkages.
All in all it looks really good and cant wait to see some photos of the girl in action....

With the mounts, I have seen the current items mount with their connections above the axles axis (axis running from hub to hub) so when breaking the axle wants to twist away from the mounts and this is what snaps them. By ensuring your mounts are below the axis when the axle twists under braking, it puts the load in compression and hence easier to transfer the load through the link set up to the chassis via mounts.
I take it that your V8 is on Megasquirt then? Having fun with that???

I generally think people put the on the top to aide clearance and because they think they are better lol.
The best way would be to mimic the rear set up with a single bolt to mount arrangement, unfortunately this wouldn't take the twisting forces. However there is a cunning way around it........................But I'm not saying LOL as I haven't modelled it yet....

I wish, I'm trying to iron out the misfire I had before the rebuild, dam distributor!
He meant me you sausage!
But yes thank you Ian it's bloody awesome, what an incredible difference to burn that distributor in the hell fire for all eternity and have a wonderfully accurate crank sensor now instead, I'm bloody well chuffed with it!

It's a bolt on 4 link system!
