Two quickies which are pretty minor but would be nice to fix if I can.

1. Front driver and passenger doors never close without slamming them. Is it common for these doors to drop? Anyone know how to make them shut on a gentle swing, which I assume they once did as the rear doors do.

2, Tailgate/Rear door - This just swings shut whenever there is a gentle breeze of a slight gradient. wife got hit by it today and it hurt her a bit (I do love my Disco :D) - Is there a way to make it hold open when fully opened?

thanks

Have to say tailgate door on my Disco 2 usually needs a good 'shove' to close it.
Have you checked the stay on the bottom is secure ?

I didn't find it funny at all. I just do as I am told. Went to the garage for some anti freeze for wife's van, left the car round the corner from the forecourt, and yes the doors DID shut much better thanks!

Unfortunately, I no longer have a disco as some tea leaf buggered off in it. Now i realise the downside of leaving windows open.

:D :D :D :D

So no more posts from you on your disco then!
(We oftern have to leave our windows open a tiny bit as we travel alot with dogs. Apart from locking with the key, never had a problem. They can't nick it without a key, usually, did they tow it onto a trailer with the alarm blaring, or is this all a "snoojob"?!

Ha, you almost sounded pleased! I must have misinterpreted you. ;)

or is this all a "snoojob"?!
BUSTED!

I have dogs with me all the time too, and I do actually leave the windows open an inch all round, I have those boy racer wind deflector (fag deflectors really) things so no rain goes in.

The front doors seem to have dropped ever so slightly, gonna have to try and adjust as I have to do a 180 every time I get out as the door bounces open on the latch.

Without looking I can't remember if you can adjust the door post latch thing, but I'd expect so, if that helps.
