Hi all my next door neighbour is trying to sort out a clutch problem on his old disco. Pedal wont depress I was thinking bearing? Thing is we are both a little perplexed lol. Any suggestion would be great thank you.
 
if the you mean the peddle is rock hard then this is probably the slave has gone to full reach
the clutch forlk may have worn through the privet ball
 
Remove the slave cylinder. You can then check out the hydraulic operation. The rod that is attached to the clutch fork should be poking out of the bellhousing by about an inch. If it's flush with the bellhousing then your fork arm has failed.
Don't be tempted to pull on the rod as its only held in by a plastic clip and may come away in your hand.
