top right = Lo Range
top left = Lo Range + Diff Lock
middle = neutral (no drive)
bottom right = Hi Range (normal driving)
bottom left = Hi Range + Diff Lock

that's assuming what he said is true

btw dont use diff lock in either ratio on any ground that isnt a loss surface as a minmu gravel but ideally sand, mud, water etc
basically dnt use difflock unless offroading and u think you may loose traction.
this is a very simple explanation and you should do some research before playing with he little lever and dnt blame me for anything you break
