You couls also try the scrap yard for a pump off the bmw 525 tds, not sure if they are interchangable but im sure some1 on here could tell you if they are, goooooo luck.

Apparently the set up with the bmw one is completely different but i have been told that many things,i dont know anymore but lets see whats about,. many thanx for the help

Do a search, people on here have managed to use M51 FIP's from BMW/Omega for the P38. I think though there are 2 different flange sizes.

that sounds more like it what does it cost to recon the pump?

Not sure how much it would cost, you can send it to them and they ring you back with a price to repair etc and tell you exactly what your getting done to your pump for the money, the number is 0161 8724755.

Will do that overland recommended Ian Barclay in rock ferry but i still need a pump. He diagnosed the problem in the first place.Diesel injection specialists in Burscough are qouting near 800quid for a rebuild so if PF Jones are more or less the same its too expensive at the moment.
