Thanks, although as I said, I didn't actually take them myself :)

Probably a very good idea to take a saw, the ground has softened a lot now, and there have been some windy days.

See you all tonight! :)

Hope everyone enjoyed last night sorry I couldn't make it. would anyone be interested in some lanes Sunday 9th November around the liskeard area need to clear one lane very over grown have permission from the land owner to use saws etc I know we don't have to get permission but no worry about a ****ed Cornish farmer. and to go over towards bodmin to look at another lane and drive a few between. Note the lane that is over grown is very very boggy and particularly flooded at the moment and the other lanes are rutted and are hairy in a few places. Let me know if your interested and will send some details over via pm. :D

Always another time, mate! :)

Situation with clearance is complicated. You are allowed to abate an obstruction, but aren't supposed to do maintenance work without permission. Highways depts. frown on power tools being used as it can cause problems with insurance.

The lane should not be driven until it has dried out, vehicles will cause damage if it is boggy.

scratch that then will leave it thought you could cut small branches down my bad the lower part is only boggy as its a water trap and he is in and out all the time to get to his fields.

No probs if its a just a splash through water, but not if we would sink in the ground. :) Afraid tractor damage is common on byways too, and often 4wd get the blame :(
