Have you used them before? And if so, are they any good?

I've got a week off of work and need to get the landy sorted for the winter, but I'm not sure if I can be bothered to do it all myself. Once I have all the kit it will probably be cheaper to just use those guys!

No not used them myself and I've not had any dealing with them either, so no idea what they are like - sorry!!

Was just looking for somewhere localish a while back, as mine has been undersealed by the previous owner and needs redoing soonish........

Bit too fast to be a thorough job I think! Need to steamclean spotless, wash out inside best as possible, dry thoroughly inside and out, apply inside and outside of chassis, wait for that to harden.
Hard to do that in less than three days. :)

Yes very true, but bearing in mind they are not advertising specifically for Landy's, so the one day/£99.00 (which they do say is the starting price, underside only) could equally be for a straight forward job like a new Nissan Micra......

Just saying it may be worth further investigation for anyone that wants a more local solution.

Just looked them up on the good Garage Scheme and plenty of positive feedback, but again we've no idea who is giving the feedback...

This is looking like the garage of choice ...3 days and only a stones throw from Oxford to keep us amused .

TM I woke up in the night and remembered what Betsy had originally had ...pretty sure it was Ziebarts ...ok so it didn't begin with H ..

You don't hear much about Ziebarts nowadays, but I remember them back in the day. After they sprayed into the cavities they had little plastic plugs with Zs on that blocked up the drill holes. :)

Now you mention it, I think you may have said before that Betsy had been done.

Stuck a fred in the LZ Courier section but figgered I'd ask here too, anyone able to help me by collecting a 90 chassis from Liskeard and drop it in Perranporth this coming Saturday? Beer/fuel/fag tokens on offer as always.

I could pick it up and hold on to it on any day except Saturday.
Wouldn't be able to deliver it to Perranporth for a couple of weeks though - flat out working at the moment, 14 hrs a day!

That's fine Trewey - I'll give em a call tomorrow and see when they are around. No rush on delivery - ####in thing's been in bits for 8 months, couple extra weeks won't make any difference.

Any day you'd prefer to collect it? I'm away until Wednesday evening, available to help load it Thurs until 1030, Friday available until 1300.

Much appreciated fella.

TM This is another possibility ..They will use Waxoyl or Dinitrol , whichever is the preference ...somewhere in the blurb it does say that they would do inside the chassis box sections and also apply an underbody wax ...

Doncaster would be just as handy as we'll be heading to York en route anyway.:)

They do seem to be fairly thorough, or at least says they are on the website. :) And say they are happy to use Dinitrol.

I heard good things about them from a guy on our yard who restored classic cars (not Landys) it was a couple of years ago though.
