Did you take your laptop or have you got a smart phone now ?

Smart Phone! Me! Took me years to learn how to use the puter,:D I take it along to check emails, and also so I can look at any pics I might take while Im away.

As there don't seem to be any objections I take it we are all up for Tuesday next week at the Fox and Hounds?

I think the missus is coming this time, so I will probably take the Disco, she likes the comfort. We can pick you up if you like, has a time been agreed at all?

Anyone on here from Devon way? Around North or West Devon. We have a few mud pluggers and laners in our club and stretch across the areas mentioned, interested to hear from other people that are around if they want to join us for some of our meets? Located between Holsworthy and Hatherleigh. Drop me a PM or post on yer...

Hi all,

Is there much of a group in Cornwall for green laning? I've retired the freelander from daily use and as it was my Dad's (free) I think I might as well fit some better tyres, maybe a lift? and have a go at laning? There's a P&P place near to me at Truro, but I've heard it's a bit extreme for Land rover's worst incarnation of a 4x4...

Baldhu that's called its a old mine workings it has the potential to be quite difficult down there, there's a few of us that do it down here but not too often to become a nuisance

I had wondered how the locals take to 4x4s rumbling past their village. I guess it's better to see agricultural looking landys trundling along than motorbikes tearing past...

You've hit the nail on the head the more normal they are not raised like monster trucks and blaring smoke and noise the easier it is to blend in in my opinion

A few vehicles, reasonably tidy and without huge, aggressive tyres isn't usually a problem. We try and avoid using the same routes too often, people will get upset by constant traffic if they live close to the road, even if it is a legal byway. Same as everywhere else, dangerous driving and off-piste activity will cause serious upset.
If you would like to meet us, you could come to the meet at the fox and hounds next week. Next Tuesday, 26th August, at 7.30, seems to be the plan, maybe a bit later if you don't want to eat. :)

The thought had not entered my mind  Yu don't seriously think anyone goes to Lanner if they don't need to! :D

We are picking up Martyn on the way, should be there just after seven in good time to eat. :)

I is hoping to come, but ultimately it will depend what time I get finished at work.
Oddie is on ollerdee at the mo I think.

Sorry its a bit of a mission fer yu, Trewey, but we thought this one would be convenient for Jem90, he and his missus have tried to make a few gatherings, but stuff has always come up. We shall try for something further east next time! :) Good if you can make it, no worries if not.

Ahh , didn't realise you lot were eating ...I could be persuaded to eat ...;)

Funnily enuff I assumed that you would be, that's why we thought of it. ;)

Martyn has heard that the food is pretty good there, and it will be something for the less landy oriented partners, if any. :) Not that you seem to have issues in that respect anyway.
