Hi Martyn , there's only one lane I need to check out across the KHF , which I plan to do tomorrow ....and at £5 to cross 
I may have to have a re-think anyway ...but when we get a pub night sorted , I'll bring my route plan and see if there's any we could get together and check out ...I can't remember ..have you got OS mapfinder? If so , I'd be happy to send the route on a GPXfile.

Could do ...but the route we are looking at has a lane just either side of the ferry so it would be good to do them ...then it naturally follows towards Devoran and the Poldice valley ..I'll send you the route as this is possibly too public , you'll see what I mean.

Will be in touch when Turbo has returned ... Any pub ideas? We were thinking Civvy Arms or Fox n Hounds at Scorrier? I think Mon and Weds of the week after next maybe no good for me after all , but I'll confirm when I know a bit more.

If you guys are coming across to the Roseland and you want to do the lane near ish the ferry there is a pub about a mile from the end of it the food and beer is good just watch out for all the visitors .......
The lane is much more fun when we have had a bit of rain, she has been a bit washed out over the last year or so, she is short but sweet.

Think we may have done that one yesterday , and since we were flying solo , I was very glad it was dry and we probably did it back to front so came down the rocky twisty bit , through the water then up the easier bit phew...!

That's a shame, I live a couple of miles from the lane short but sweet and I don't think the phone reception is great at the bottom! !!
I think she is the only lane we have on the Roseland so a bit limited, if you are ever over this way give us a shout just need to get my gearboxsorted out next week.... and I will be on the road again.

I haven't returned, but on pub internet in Lunnon!
Fox and hounds scorrier would be fine for us too. Tuesday week, think that will be the 26th, would be fine. or else the Thursday.

Well I'm now abroad and have loads of time to look for my next land rover. I am well and truly hooked! I like the ex energy company 110s!

Phew glad you haven't given up all together the 110s are great a lot of them are built on heavy duty chassis and carry the special vehicle logo, only downside is they are normally driven hard as the winches on the front are a invaluable tool for chaps in the field used for pulling conductors up.

Ha ha no I'm off corsica at the moment, keep seeing loads of defenders and getting very jealous

I used to have a exilitary 110 hard top and although they are normally drab green with a decent set of wheel on the look the muts, I'll let you know if I see anything local Andy Richards in Carharrack is taking in a genuine ex mil police land rover next week still got light and sirens
