I did wonder about the lens, seemed like a hell of a coincidence us just finding it. Got a white stick here if its any good to yu:D

Popped back up there yesterday ...my lovely little lens , still lying on the ground where we chucked it ....thankfully you hadn't run over it ....noticed a planning app on the byway sign ...at least it's not being changed to a bridle way ......looks like a 60 m wind turbine is going up tho ...the vehicles needed for that'll probably ruin the lane anyway.:(

I didn't realise you didn't take it away with you on Sun. glad you found it still there!
60m could be quite a biggie, possibly 250-500kw, they will probably surface the track for crane access :(

Sign says a temporary erection , to gather data ...but seems bloody huge to me:confused:

Anemometer mast ;) Like a tall thin pylon with a whirly thing on top.

That will be for a big turbine then, they don't pay for that unless its a big bucks project.

I'm looking at going to a leaf and coil club meet on sunday near Camborne if anyone is interested? I'm probably not going to run the landy as it's too much wear for my liking but will be interesting to see.

Its up my road here, just turn right after the bungalows instead of coming down here. I wont be going, bores me witless, but come down for a coffee after if you want. :)

I know where you mean. Thanks for that. I probably will have a look but there seems to be too many trees around those courses for my liking and too much stress on the landy.

Yes, the coffee sounds like a plan if I come up that way, a friend is coming down for the weekend so I'll probably take him out for a drive.

Sunday at a site called nancemellin, just near Mr T's farm.

The chap I bought the landy off runs the club and wants to see the LR now it's on the road so I thought I'd take it up.

I now have my starter motor working as well now! All mod cons in 1983!

Busy weekend at Nancemellin this weekend, they are hosting Gwinear show on the Saturday, and then the trial at the scramble track on the Sun.
Might be stragglers, better dig me shotgun out! :D
