Easy to do, may be worth changing the rocker cover gasket while your at it. Remember not to do the bolts up too tight and buy a few spare bolts incase one sheers off.

Clean the red plug and the other end with some brake cleaner, let it dry fully before clipping it back in.

Oh yeah I'll replace the gasket as well and good point about getting some spare bolts.

So today I took off all of the checker plate, I'm going to give it a key then put on some etch primer then spray on the black upol raptor paint, should make it look much better:

The paint underneath the plate is a way better condition than I thought it would be.

Because I'm a mug and didnt want to spend £5 on postage I bought a k&n air filter to take my order total to £50 to get free postage.
Now having looked on the net, it's seems that these air filters Bugger up you engine for no power gain. Sugar

I don't think that they'll damage your engine, but if the manufacturers who invest hundreds of millions in engine design could get any benefit from a change of paper.....

Apparently they let dust though, so the bores get damaged, and also the oil on the filter gets on to the maf sensor causing problems.

So I fitted the new injector loom today, there was oil leaking out of the rocker cover gasket so I replaced that. Went to start it and it started well, and it seemed ok when I went for a drive, raptor arrived in the post so I'm going to attempt to spray the checker tomorrow.

Nice sticker eh?

Black looks so much better!

Gonna give her a clean and polish and take her to a beauty spot and get some pics with the new camera bought.

Whats the coverage like on the Raptor paint and what did you apply it with? Thinking of using it on my bumper, roll bar, side skirts and possibly axles.
