Hi all, I had EAS troubles a while ago ,but was on holiday and unable to solve my problems. After returning and a vacation in hospital, I today started looking at the problem. The car has been on air with valves for a few weeks with very low air loss.I have just refurbed the pump, and it is now producing good air as per Wammers guide. however the system refuses to rise off its bump stops,but my Nanocom is showing no faults. I have changed the valve block for one with new seals in,but still nothing. any ideas? nb it was working perfectly then just stopped. thanks in advance Mick

Could be the driver pack that controls the solenoids?
Have you tried manually operating the valves from nanocom and seeing if you get air at the outlets from the valve block?
 
no,,thats a good idea,thanks. Ichecked the top of the drier, and thats getting air. also when i removed the pipes for the two rear springs there was some air,but not much.none from the fronts.

Sounds like you have no air pressure if everything else good. Have you looked at diaphragm valve? Rears always rise first that is why you have air there and none at front.
 
I have replaced all o rings and diaphram valve. i agree that it sounds like no air pressure. when I use Nanocom to open vaves there is no air to springs

Has this happened since you refurbed valve block? First priority is good air, no airy no worky.
 
Air from the pump is good,air from top of drier is good. I have 2 valve block/driver assys and have tried both. It seems as though there is a blockage from the pump to the tank and thus no air available for the springs. It may be that I am just being thick ,but cannot seem to find fault. will keep trying

Check the NRVs in the valve block.
 
checked all the NRV valves clean and not stuck, will have to look at pressure guage into tank

Air goes from compressor across sealed diaphragm along gallery and out into drier. It then flows through drier and back into valve block past NRV 1 and out into tank feed pipe. Are the NRVs the correct way round?
 
Yes, they are the original ones and were working previously. It stopped working and all I did was remove the outlet pipes and fit schrader as a temporary measure. I have checked the wiring on the nearside footwell(previously soldered) What I cannot fathom is no fault being recorded on the Nanocom. Thanks for your help
 
You need to know if you've got good air in the tank first. As wammers says, no airy no worky.
Once you have definite good air in the tank you can try forcing the various valves with nanocom to see if you get air out of the respective port. If that doesn't work, it will be a faulty solenoid or driver board.
 
Is your pump definitely producing air out the blue pipe. I had to sort a friends out last week, the grub screw had come loose on the counter balance that connects the piston to the pump motor.
 
Yes renewed cylinder and ring and checked that compressor. It is producing excellent air pressure,unable to stop air with thumb. when I removed the pipe from the top of the air drier it was under good pressure
