Hope you've informed your insurance companyI'm happy with the heavy-duty Bilstein coils and shocks on my LSE. Can't fault them the way I use the Rangie, which is like a truck more than car.

Here in Merka the conversion means nothing to my insurers. You don't have any ?
I wonder why coil kits are cheap second hand?No excuse, but one good reason..
.cost. Best way to go ,IMHO, is arnott gen 3's if your pockets are deep enough. Coil kits are not expensive to source 2nd hand bit by bit and cobble them together. Itl take few days to fit and is pretty straight forward. Although make sure you know what height u want to be at permanently. If your in two minds id stick with airbags as the conversion is a bit*h to reverse if you change your mind

Or the fitter found that they were sh1tePlenty still around Coz they don't split???
Nor do airbags unless you expect them to last beyong their design life.Plenty still around Coz they don't split???
They probably just don't pay. Here in Merka the conversion means nothing to my insurers.
It's ok on a classic though. Right?Anybody who fits coil springs on a P38 because he cannot repair the EAS should not be working on vehicles.
and unfortunately that includes LR main dealers. And because of the ridiculous hourly rate they charge they make the excuse that it is uneconomic.Anybody who fits coil springs on a P38 because he cannot repair the EAS should not be working on vehicles.
