Hi, not sure how we go about that but I'm open to suggestions, no sniggering at the back.Having a Foxwell pro 520 I'll be very interested in the differences between it and yours.
Didn't know you'd asked him too! Musta missed it!Hi, not sure how we go about that but I'm open to suggestions, no sniggering at the back.
I know we both asked the guru "why not a 530 " but I went ahead anyway as it was in a sale at £122. It seems alright with plenty of menus/options inc. fob coding so time will tell.
I hope so. It's worked for the 20 odd minuets earlier. I did clear the ABS fault codes on the Freelander earlier & took it for a spin so when I reconnect it tomorrow I'll see if they've gone for good.Maybe foxwell fixed the ''bugs'' on 530 since we spoke or they just used the older softs on it, important is that it's working well.
As this is the first code reader I've owned I will have to say 'don't know' but I'm sure someone will. How does this compare to (for example) the icarsoft?

in a nutshell: icarsoft is full of sh*t compared to foxwellHow does this compare to (for example) the icarsoft?

+11111 to ^ re Foxwell!
I've got a good collection of diagnostic equipment, including a Gap Diagnostics IID BT, A Delphi clone, a couple of ELMs plus Torque and the Icarsoft I930, which although cheap and limited, actually works ok as a basic code reader/eraser. I also have one for the Fiat's in the household, but can't remember the name off hand.
Now that was a fast reply - minus one minute!Thing about the Foxwell, apart from being a shedload cheaper than all the others, is that it does the whole range of RR products and OBD2 and you can buy and download the software for other manaufacturer's ranges cheaply too.
Compared to a Nanocom or a Hawkeye that lets you work on just one particular vehicle, unless you pay through the noew for an unlock code.
And it seems to do all I want it to....
...... and no, i'm not on commission!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had the iCarsoft CR Plus 4 years ago that can be used on a multitude of car brands. Worked great on my wife’s BMW X5 and mother-in-law’s Audi and Cadillac but I needed it to do more than just resetting the ABS for 3 amigos on my Disco 2.but what does the Foxwell do that the icarsoft doesn't?
I'm genuinely looking for amswers here, I'm probably going to buy one!
Yeah, I think I'll go Foxwell. Cheaper than even a second hand Nanocom, no brainer if it's also more reliable.According to others on here, the Nanocom has a nasty habit of getting mixed up when it comes to which wheel sensor on an axle is the one causing a 3 amigos problem.
This is a fault the Foxwell doesn't have. My Foxwell worked fine when sorting out the 3 amigos problem.
