Afternoon all
The Discos been running great for the last few months but yesterday the central locking packed in!

The rear door has always been a bit lazy to open but all the others were usually fine, in one foul swoop all doors have packed in apard from the drivers!
Symptoms
I can open and close the drivers with the fob no problem but all others remain firm.
Button on the dash will only operate the drivers door open/closed.
I cant pull the locking tabs up on the doors
If i double operate all the handles (Front pass/both rear pass and back door) all will open fine and then lock with the fob.
The locking pins on all affected doors would apear to be moving a little while operating the fob but not opening.

Ive read a simalar thread with a possible solution but am struggling with the answer?
Is there anything in the system that would dead lock all the doors bar the drivers as im struggling to believe that 4/5 doors would pack in at the same time!!

Thanks

Note i only have one key/fob and it works fine.

Hi. As long as you can see or hear any activity in those locks while you operate the fob it means that the system is working, all those actuators are in parallel on the same output, the driver's door is alone on a separate circuit.... you'll have to remove the door cards one by one and unplug one actuator at a time and try then to lock/unlock cos one of them is fubar and it creates a voltage drop on the whole circuit which affects the others especially that they are "tired" as well, start with the tail door as it already made tricks and it's the easyest to access

Just a thought, if you press the unlock button twice does that open them all? It's a programable option.

I'll concede that it is a little hard to accept, but do keep the possibility in mind. You could try replacing one latch unit to see how things go, and if it works then you'll have your answer.

If you cannot open a door from the inside via the sill [cill?] tab is it because all of the doors except the drivers door are in a "Superlocked" state and the sill mechanisms are disconnected?
It might be that you need some kind soul with an appropriate Nanocom to alter your "options" in your control system.
