Will a freelander cope on the greenlaning

we had a problem with the defender last year so we led a group with a Kia and its normally me and my sister that recce the routes with the help of others you have no problem, all I will say this year though all lanes will be scratchy

You need to start buying tickets folks, so we know exactly how many people are coming and we can start to plan for this great w/end. we need to know numbers for laning so we know how many leaders we need and how many routes we need to sort ;)

only 21 tickets sold folks, for this event to happen we need more people to attend, its a great w/end for meeting people, Laning and having loads of fun, if your coming please purchase your tickets asap, thank you :):):)

It's just bad timing from my point of view as I always take off TT week, and my employer don't like me being out of the office too much in the same month.. barstewards.... :( Otherwise, I'd drag my backside over.

this event WILL NOT happen unless we sell more tickets, we had plenty of people put their name on the list when we started, where are you all now, again we cant plan the laning unless we know how many are coming, please buy your tickets now

Picture this as you head to work in the sunshine.

Its 5pm and youre out of there finally..you drive home, give the landy a quick once over and set off. After ( insert your own mileage here ) you arrive at a campsite in leicestershire to br greeted by a thin middle aged woman with stunning youthfull skin and gorgeous hair. FINE...ok well i am allowed certain dreams ive only just woken up...so ok you get met by me instead.

You park up amidst several other landies set up your tent in the cooling summer air and then wander over to the marquee.

You buy a pint from the converted horsebox bar , a bite to eat from the food stand and venture in. On your own ? It doesnt matter. The organisers are the hostesses with the mostnessess...we come over and start to chat and introduce you to those around you. After a couple of hours you feel like youve known them for ever...chatting about landies and life ( non of the bickering you sometimes get on here...just never happens in real life ). You go to bed happily ale d and entertained.

The following morning after a full english breakfast we buy our packed lunches from the food van and we set off laning. Spend a full day in the company of strangers doing an activity you love doing in gorgeous countryside and i guarantee youve made a bunch of mates. So now let the saturday night continue but with chatting amongst mates now..

The sunday its either more laning or a leisurely start to the day before heading home.

So ask yourself ..what am i doing instead on the weekend of the 24th june ...gtidying up the house, maybe getting the food shopping in, tinkering on the landy on the drive ..alone, a bit of diy.....and tell me that LZ 13 doesnt sound a much better way of spending the weekend.

Look at the photos from previous years and just imagine.......

Now buy your tickets :)
