So anyone been lulled into attending by my siren like description of the weekend ?

See..i think the prospect of seeing the rare longhaired besandled beasty is a much better draw than me waxing lyrical :p:D

Not to mention the beer and the food and the music and the beer and the company and the beer ...

Also there will be laning and some spare gate bitches who ain't gorra Landie no more, (me for a start), and there will be tea and coffee for them that dunt drink beer ....(other beverages will be available but I've not looked that far) ....

And posh loos, I know it might seem a bit weird but tis our largest single expense and they are PROPER nice and I think it makes a huge difference and is worth the cost.

Other halves will be well impressed.

Did anyone mention beer?

The loos were that posh i actually took a photo the first year

We did think about going for the cheaper option with blue tardis ones but with families going we decided that the nicer bigger ones on a trailer were more appropriate..trouble is we have to flog a fair few tickets to cover the cost.

As MUCH as WE would like to join you lot ! SADLY it dunt look like we will be able to ! work & all that CR@P getting in the way :mad:
BUT I do HAVE 7 RAFFLE prize's that I hope @Paul D will pick up on the way thru :):)

So got my ticket...we have to sell at least 18 more tickets to even thing about it going ahead...if youre undecided or thinking of buying your ticket nearer the time then please dont...we have to be able to at least break even and trust me , non of us organisers can afford to sub the event. If we cancel we need to do so in good time to let food vans , bar , toilets , band know without them penalising us financially...so if you wait too long to buy your ticket then you may find theres no event happening any more.

TRUST me B/B there is nobody more pi$t off than me & Ange For not being able to make it :(:(
BUT if MIRACLES happen then we will be there :):)

Just checked ferry prices and it'd cost me £240 just to get off (and back on) the Island, so even if I could get time off work, I just can't afford it at the moment, especially, if the event were to be cancelled as I wouldn't get a refund from my boat tickets.
Thinking ahead, does this event take place around the same dates each year? If it does, then I can book well ahead for 2018

Iirc we had the dates confirmed at the beginning of Feb, a definite booking for the venue is difficult earlier than that.

So new party game for LZ 13. We dispense with the name badges and dont introduce ourselves and people have to guess who everyone is.

So if you look for the blonde 20year old long legged swedish looking burd you might be chatting to me.

The tall blonde adonis creature with the most amazing six pack could belong to a couple of members...if you look down at his feet and see a summer type footware well who knows who that might be ;)

I think hours of fun could be had...or we could just go feck it , lets drink beer :D
