I'm well aware that we'll have a lot of issues when making this work both during and after the build but we'll get it sorted!
Main issue will be getting the flywheel and bellhousing adaptors sorted, engine mounts were **** easy. We're gonna start on the bellhousing adaptor this week anyway and make a mock up flywheel adaptor
After that as stated its gonna be an issue of getting power down onto the ground without breaking everything!
Pity this never came as a manual if not I'd buy the manual box and adapt the LT230 to fit it

will not handle the hp or torque from that caddy motor

depending which flat head that transmission came from the flat head v8 was a 65-95 hp motor
but it will save you so much time,money and effort.after all it is a plaything,not your everyday drive is it.
what is the problem with autos?

It would but as below they're a bit long even if there is a GM box on ebay atm that'd take it
Just plain don't like them really, much prefer to drive a manual
Plus auto boxes are a bit too long really
