is this the same series with the 2 rv8's then?
Correct. Plus we have never seen Pics of the king cab conversion either

yeah i have, no worse than anyone else thats established on the forum, he doesnt endlessly chase them round their threads like you seem to do.
Ok maybe not reaming, but your like a dog with a bone.
So what if its his third motor, its his motor, if he wants to spend all his time dicking about and not taking advice then fine, if he didnt want your advice in the first place then why are you constantly trying to ram it down his throat?
let him make his own mistakes (or not) life is a learning curve, i for one find his madcap as hell projects quite amusing.

There are several others giving advice on this. I got a little more experience on GM than Doc 405 was wrong and was trying to point that out. Kinda like fitting 1.8k parts into a td5.
Yeah.......I got the RV8 running nicely in it but then my mate offered me this engine so it just had to go in
So what if it was wrong, I stated the correct one a few posts back but couldn't be arsed checking......
It makes no difference either wether its a 405 or 402 or a ####ing 440 the only thing that matters is the PCD on the flywheel
tooth count is 158 or 168 cant remember, diameter is 14" so it'll fit inside a small block bellhousing
It might do but the point is I'd still need to find one that has the correct PCD to match the crank

no I just cant be arsed looking to see if its a 402 or a 405,
obviously they're not apple for apple but I have the important measurements so I can see if it'll be a close fit as well as the total tooth count so I can get a starter for it if it'll fit
I didnt think they ever did a 7liter small block as stock back in the 70's?
The tooth count has nothing to do with the starter. You only have a choice of 2 starters. That is determined by the bolt pattern on the engine block. The 2 bolt holes for the starter are either inline or off set.
